BLENDED MASALA TEA

Have you heard about Chai without chai powder ?
Let's check out this amazing recipe so that you can enjoy chai without actually having chai! :)

Ingredients

For Masala :

  • 2-3 green cardamoms

  • 1 stick cinnamon

  • 4-5 black peppercorns

  • 2-3 cloves

For Tea :

  • 1½ cups water

  • ½ cup almond milk

  • 1 tsp organic jaggery

  • ½ tsp unpeeled ginger, crushed

  • 1-2 blades lemongrass

Preparation

  • Grind all the spice ingredients together to a coarse powder.

  • Mix water, almond milk and masala powder in a pan and boil for 3-4 minutes.

  • Add jaggery powder and ginger and boil for a minute. Then add lemongrass, cover and boil for 2-3 minutes.

  • Strain, pour into cups and enjoy the monsoon.
